Made back in lockdown I had no choice but to direct the piece remotely, leaving the extremely talented actor, Jordan Bernarde to film himself. This meant working on the project like a theatre piece and Jordan and I had the best of time rehearsing, tweaking, polishing and repeating Rick’s amazing script. The story takes place at the moment a son is being taken away from his father to live with his mother. The father and son have time for one last chat. They need to make it count. So they talk about the only things that seem right – aliens and lightsabers.
